Agnikul Cosmos Pvt Ltd.

Chennai-based rocket-production startup Agnikul Cosmos Pvt Ltd. hopes to have its space rocket prepared by 2022, said a top company official.

“We have realized the engine for the small upper stage and work is on for the first and second stage engines of the rocket", said Agnikul Cosmos co-founder and CEO Srinath Ravichandran.
Agnikul is building up a three-stage  rocket, propelled  by Kerosene/LOX fuel with a carrying payload capacity of 100kg to low Earth orbit. The rocket stature will be 18 m in length and 1.3 m in diameter. It would weigh around 13 ton at liftoff.

For the first two stages, the "Agnilet" engine is being developed, which will have a thrust of 25.7 kN, driven by electric pump fed. It will be arranged in the cluster of seven copies.
