Tianlong-2

Space Pioneer / Beijing Tianbing Technology Co., Ltd.

Chinese commercial rocket company Space Pioneer, full name Beijing Tianbing Technology Co., Ltd. working for the first flight on its Tianlong-1 launch vehicle. Few details of the Tianlong-1 rocket have been revealed.  The Tianlong-1 first flight was announced for 2022.

"The company, established in 2015, will to develop a 30-ton-thrust HCP liquid engine named Tianhuo-3. It aims to fully develop the engine in 2021. Space Pioneer performed multiple hot fire tests of this 30-tonne thrust HCP liquid engine, which began in 2020.
Completed are the Tianhuo-1 (thrust 1 t) and Tianhuo-2 (thrust 10 t) HCP liquid rocket engine full-system hot test run.
HCP is a new generation of rocket propellant, which has the characteristics of non-toxic, non-polluting, wide temperature storage, multiple repeated ignitions and deep variable thrust.
Space Pioneer says it completed the final assembly of a vertical takeoff, vertical landing test stage (Tiansuo). The first successful hopper test took place on August 23, 2021".

The more powerful TH-11 kerolox engine with a gas generator cycle is intended for the Tianlong-2. Another TH-12 engine is to be developed for the future reusable Tianlong-3.

Some data of theTianlong-2:
High 32.8m, diameter 3.35m,  liftoff  mass 190t. Fairing 8.0m long. Liftoff thrust 1,799 kN by 7x TH-11 engines. Closed-cycle kerolox TH-11vac engine with 300 kN thrust in the 2nd stage. The TH-31 engine with 3 kN thrust is for the kick stage.
Capabilities: 2 t for LEO and  1.0 t for SSO.

SPACE-PIONEER recently conducted gas generator test of a TH-12 kerolox engine, to power the reusable Tianlong-3 rocket. A single TH-12 is designed to produce 1,079 kN thrust at sea level, with 335s Isp in vacuum and 40-110% throttling.

The Tianlong-2 first stage uses now three acquired YF-102 engines, which was developed on base the YF-20 engine. This engine can be manufactured with a thrust of 633 or 835 kN (SL).
The second stage has a TH-11 engine with a thrust of 257 kN (SL) and 300 kN (vac). The third stage is a 940 kg module with a 3 kN (vac) thrust TH-31 main engine. There are also eight control nozzles, each with a thrust of 150 N
