CASIC develops further variants of the military variants of Kuaizhou (KZ) launcher. Sincel the end of 2016 a KZ-11 is in development. It cannot be overlooked that the KZ-11 is based on the DF-41 ICBM.
The Kuaizhou-11 will have a larger diameter and stronger capacity. It will be able to place a 1-metric-ton payload into a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 700 kilometers.
Companies such as OneSpace and Expace announce their intention to use the KZ-11 for their ambitions.
