Iran launched probably
the first time their space launch vehicle. The Safir IRILV (HUS.001) had with
high probability a satellite on board (not Omid !). The probability is high,
that Iran on the occasion of the anniversary of the revolution had the ambition,
to transport a satellite in an orbit. The launch was not shown. But meanwhile
there are pictures and video-sequences of a Safir rocket with AIO-logo on
the launch site. The launch has failed evidently. |

Supposition:
The image above shows probably the failed Safir HUS.0001 with an unknown
satellite on top. The black-colored thrusters of the first and second stages
have here a white cover (above).
The Safir HUS.0001 is a equivalent of the North Korean Paektusan-2 rocket.
The images on left side shows separation and function tests with the satellite. |
